Robin Wang's Award-Winning Design Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's Vision of Flight

Robin Wang's design is a tribute to Da Vinci's vision, drawing inspiration from the master's blueprints. The villa's theme color, classic blue, is a nod to the sky, the ultimate symbol of flight. The use of plain logs and textured stones adds a vibrant yet simple touch to the space, while the bright outline presents the beauty of clouds.

The villa, covering an area of 645 square meters, is a marvel of modern design techniques. It incorporates materials such as smooth granite, nubuck leather, multi-layer solid wood flooring, and ashlar brick. The living room, with its LDK design, merges seamlessly with the widescreen French Windows, offering a broader view and an open mood.

One of the standout features of the villa is the propeller ceiling fan suspended from the ceiling. Made of metal, it adds a touch of steampunk style to the space. The classic blue aircraft back chair, with its full sense of line, allows inhabitants to appreciate the mechanical beauty and experience the era where Da Vinci lived.

Another unique feature of the villa is the spatial imagination of the teahouse. The designer uses the olive tree, a symbol of peace, as a medium to have a dialogue with the master in space. The blue space in your eyes is just like the "mechanical eagle" flying into the vast blue sky. The strong sense of stage leads the audience into the depths of the flying dream.

The project, which started in October 2020 and finished in October 2021, was a challenging endeavor. It required a deep understanding of museology, art history, art criticism, and art management. The goal was to create a space where people could immediately feel the simplicity of the space, the trace of time, the dream of flying, and the attitude of life.

The Zhuhai Jiuzhou Tianhe Jinghu Villa is not just a testament to Robin Wang's design prowess, but also a tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci's vision of flight. It is a unique blend of art and architecture that brings to life the dream of human flight. The villa was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2022, a testament to its outstanding design and trendsetting creation.
